Sauce Book
Write your sauce down while it's still on the stove. Type 200g habanero, hit Return, keep cooking. Every sauce gets a numbered label in its own color, and your book fills up like a shelf of bottles.

The book
01Every sauce is a label.
Pick a color and get cooking. The name can wait. Each sauce gets a number it keeps for life, so No. 07 is still No. 07 thirty sauces later.
The book sorts by what you made last, shows what's fermenting and for how long, and search finds a sauce by its name or anything in it.
Write it down
02Type it the way you'd say it.
Sauce Book reads the amount, the unit and the ingredient, and anything after a comma becomes a note. Return adds the line and leaves the cursor where it is, ready for the next one.
Suggestions come from a list of common ingredients and from your own sauces, with the amount you used last time. Paste a whole list and every line lands in place. There's no Save button: leave the page and it's saved.
Cook from it
03A recipe card that does the math.
The sauce page reads top to bottom like a card: label, ingredients, method, notes. The screen stays awake while it's open.
- ½× 2×Scale the batch. Every amount follows. The recipe itself never changes.
- 340 gScale to what you have. Tap an amount, type what's on the scale, and the rest of the page catches up.
- 2.4%Salt and pH on the label. Salt is worked out by weight whenever it can be known.
Every batch
04A journal for each sauce.
Tap Made it to log a batch: what changed, how it turned out, the pH, a photo. The recipe stays put unless you edit it.
- Day 12Fermenting? Set a start date and the label counts the days. Mark it bottled when it's done.
- RiffRiff on a sauce to try something new without losing the original. The copy remembers where it came from.
- ShareSend a recipe card as an image. Your journal stays private.
